Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology)
Dr. Mohamed Faiz Mohamed Mustafar is a senior lecturer and a clinical psychologist at the Department of Neurosciences, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Kubang Kerian. He is a program co-ordinator for Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology), Integrated Psychology Program USM-UPSI. Dr. Mohamed Faiz teaches neurosciences and psychology at various levels in medical and health departments and supervises trainees in counselling and clinical psychology. He also provides psychological services including assessment and psychotherapy at Psychology Clinic in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM).
He received his PhD degree in Neurosciences from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Fribourg, Switzerland in 2018. He graduated in Master of Human Sciences (Clinical and Counselling Psychology) in 2012 from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Dr. Mohamed Faiz is an active member of Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN), Society for Neuroscience Kelantan Chapter (SfNKC), Swiss Society for Neuroscience (SSN) and Asia Pacific School Psychology Association. His research interest includes visual perception, learning, memory, comparative neuroscience, mental-health and eye-tracking study. My current interest focused on the development of novel ways in looking at potential behavioral maker in neuropsychological related disorders.
