Master of Cognitive Neurosciences
Dr Aini Ismafairus Binti Abd Hamid is a lecturer in the Department of Neurosciences, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Health Campus where she has been a faculty member since Mac 2016. She is a co-coordinator for Master of Cognitive Neurosciences since 2018. She is also a member of Brain and Behaviour Cluster, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
She has completed her PhD degree/Dr. rer. nat. at Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg, Germany, her Master degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and her undergraduate studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Her research interest lies in the area of cognitive neurosciences, neuroplasticity, and connectome. So far, she has published more than twenty journal articles and also reviewed many journal articles, both nationally and internationally. She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of neurosciences, particularly on cognitive neurosciences using functional magnetic resonance imaging in exploring human brain functions.
